Guidence and Direction

The stated commitment of this effort is described within as being to explore, expose and vent. Beyond that, no additional concentration of my vision is offered, primarily because I do not want to restrict my effort with self-imposed limitations. My considerations are entirely opportunistic and spontaneous. There is no limit to what I might speak of and no particular philosophy or bent will be allowed to hold precedent over my portrayals. The writings contained in these pages are not included for their potential ability to sway the opinions or beliefs of others for I have no real intention to do anything of this nature and, despite my amazement that some other human being would take the time to explore these pages or to read what I might leave written here, this entire effort and all that it encompasses is an exercise intended for my own edification as well as for the sake of clarifying my understanding of those outward events that I have chosen to write about. With that understanding, I must admit, with sincere honesty, that while I have provided the means for individuals reading these things to comment on the words and thoughts they encounter within, those comments are secondary to the effort of personal understanding I undertake. That being said, I must also admit to the realization that, as the author of these words and thoughts, I am far from infallible and my propensity for idiocy is as great as any other individuals, therefore, it is also my sincere desire that the comments of others provide alternative perceptions or additional considerations not explored thereby enabling me to further refine and/or reshape my own comprehension. Ultimately, the standard I seek is truth and with the knowledge that I am not the sole repository of that precious commodity foremost, I appeal to this process in the hope that, by the simple act of comparison, errors will become more apparent, the opportunity to exchange error for truth will become more readily evident and, overall, a more refined perception of the truth will eventually result from the collision of error with reason and logic more sound.
